Who we are
Bravura ("we", "us") is a personal, non-commercial project run by an individual based in the United Kingdom. It is a free diary of professional classical, opera and dance performances. For any privacy question you can email bravuraliveUK@gmail.com.
What data we collect
- Account data — if you sign up: your email address and (for Google sign-in) your Google account ID and display name.
- Content you create — the lists and saved concerts on your account.
- Feedback — anything you send via the contact form.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, handled by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention. This is retained for a short period only.
- Advertising & measurement cookies — only if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. See the Cookie Policy.
Lawful basis
- Contract — to run your account and save your lists.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure and to reply to feedback.
- Consent — for advertising cookies and any analytics that requires them. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of processors to run the site. They only process your data on our instructions:
- Lovable Cloud / Supabase — application hosting, database and authentication.
- Google (AdSense) — advertising, only after you accept ad cookies. Google may act as an independent controller for advertising data. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the display typefaces. Your IP address is shared with Google when the fonts load.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing emails.
International transfers
Some processors (notably Google) are based outside the UK/EEA. Where transfers happen, they rely on the UK's adequacy decisions or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your email, lists and saved concerts. Feedback messages are kept for up to 24 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data ("data portability") — signed-in users can do this from account settings
- Object to or restrict processing
- Withdraw consent for cookies at any time
Email bravuraliveUK@gmail.com to exercise any of these rights. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Bravura is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
